The last day of band camp, Thursday, August 12th, we will host our annual band family picnic. Once again, the Music Boosters will provide hot dogs, hamburgers and all the trimmings. Each family is asked to bring an accompanying item, based on your last name.* Last names beginning with:
A-C Salads – green, spinach, veggie tray
D-G Salads – potato, macaroni, Jell-O, etc.
H-N Side Dishes – beans, coleslaw, corn, etc. O-R Desserts – enough for 20 people S-Z Drinks – one case of 24 (soda, water, Gatorade, etc. – no alcohol)
*Please bring the items assigned by alphabet in order to assure we have a balance of items.
The agenda for the evening is:
4:30PM Set-up team begins getting picnic ready (back of school by commons) 5:30PM Preview of this season’s show (South student parking lot. Park in Lots by main entrance. ) 6:00PM Potluck picnic begins (Commons – main entrance)
To plan appropriately, we need each family to RSVP, no later than August 10th. We are planning to have the picnic in the commons (west side of the main entrance) If you can help setup for the picnic or have any questions, please contact Diane Stephens.
