As you can image, it takes resources to provide a high-quality music program for hundreds of students in our community, so it is necessary to ask our community to contribute money and supplies. Funds are used for equipment purchase/maintenance, specialized instructors, transportation, & more.

3. Volunteer
Many performances require a small army of volunteer support for things like selling concessions, driving equipment trucks, moving instruments / props, hospitality, managing uniforms, & so much more.

You get a link on our website and your logo printed on a banner that is displayed at most of our events, including the craft fair!

7. Attend a Restaurant Night
At least once a month during the school year, we partner with a local restaurant who donates a portion of their sales to BCHSIMP.
You have to eat anyway, so these are a great way to enjoy a meal outside of your home while doing good for music in the community.

8. Come to the Craft Fair
A December tradition for over 30 years! The Bear Creek High School Instrumental Music Program Craft Fair is one of the largest craft fairs in the area attracting thousands of folks who can have a choice of nearly 200 crafters!

Every April, we host a mattress fundraiser at the school. You get a new bed and we get a portion of your purchase

- Marching Band & Color Guard: September/October Performances at most BCHS Varsity home football games as well as multiple Colorado Bandmasters Association competitive performances around the state leading up to state finals at the Air Force Academy.
- Pep Band: January/February Performs at most BCHS Varsity Home Basketball games.
- Band, Orchestra, Percussion, & Jazz Band: School year Multiple recitals at Bear Creek High School, usually in the theater. Occasional performances at other locations around the state.
- Winter Percussion: February/March Performs at multiple Rocky Mountain Percussion Association competitive performances around the state, leading to state finals at the Air Force academy at the end of March.
- Winter Guard: February/March Performs at multiple Rocky Mountain Color Guard Association competitive performances around the state, leading to state finals at the end of March.
