Holy cow, it is contest week!! The next two weeks will be exciting, but very full! Please help your student stay on track so that they are eligible to perform. Students should not have failing grades.

In an effort to keep everyone safe and streamline the entry process for the Monarch Marching Festival on September 17th, this year we are offering people the ability to purchase a print@home or mobile ticket in advance. This will result in a cleaner, safer, and faster "contactless" entry into the festival. Your families can also purchase tickets at the door, but please arrive early as we anticipate there will be lines.

Finally, thank you to our many music families who have stepped up to volunteer, to transport your student to the past football games and for continuing to be a support system for our well-deserving students. What an amazing team! If you have not yet volunteered to help, please consider joining us for one of our upcoming contests. Just visit the VOLUNTEER link on our website!

Football Game Itinerary
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING TRANSPORTATION TO JEFFCO STADIUM
Due to bus driver shortages in Jefferson County Schools, we will not have buses to transport students to our football games.
In the event that your child needs assistance in getting to the stadium, we will have a few parent volunteers who will be able to help. If your child will need a ride from a parent volunteer, the district requires this form to be signed. Forms are due tomorrow, Friday, August 27th.
All percussion students will need to return to BCHS after the football game to unload their instruments from the truck. Thank you for your patience, as they take care of our very delicate equipment. Details are outlined in the itinerary above.
Finally, a huge thank you to all of the parents who have volunteered to help get our program back up and running again this year! It takes so many people to make a difference for our students. I am most grateful!
I look forward to seeing you in the stands supporting our kids on September 3rd!
