Our Booster Organization
We cooperatively support, encourage and promote the objectives, purposes, and goals of the instrumental music program of Bear Creek High School. Our purpose is to increase awareness and involvement in the instrumental music activity within the Bear Creek community. We are an all volunteer parent run group set up as a nonprofit and an arm to the music program at Bear Creek High School. To review our By Laws please click on the file link below.
Participation
Our organization is open to anyone with a child in the program who has interest in supporting and participating in events while working with the director, staff, board members and students to create a strong and successful music organization.
Time Commitment
As parents, you are encouraged to attend as many, events, competitions and fundraising events as your time allows. We all recognize that finding spare time is hard for everyone. If each family participates, the tasks are easier and take a lot less time. The amount of time and effort our booster families give, the more successful the music program is and the more time we all have to enjoy our talented students! We ask that each family participates in at least 3 fundraising events, attend performances and competitions and to be supportive of your students and their efforts and excitement towards the program.
Booster Membership Cost
Unlike other booster clubs and organizations, there is NO cost to become a member of or participate in the booster functions. Participation in the events, competitions and concerts is what being a supportive booster parent is all about, so giving of your time and showing interest in the program holds much more value to the program than collecting fees.
